Plant Walk

Hi,

I am a new member and want to offer an opportunity for all to learn about wild edibles and medicinals.  I offer plant walks periodically to educate people on the plants in our area you can use for food and or medicine.

This Sunday 10-12, I am  hosting a plant walk in the downtown Asheville area Sunday April 1st 10-12 p.m. She will introduce you to a variety of wild edibles and medicinal plants.
The cost of the walk is FREE in exchange for your help in cleaning up the area of trash and debris. It is a beautiful mountain with several walking paths, park benches and a picnic table located right in the downtown area located behind Mission Hospital and by Asheville Tourist Baseball Park.
We are meeting behind the Park, Mccormick field by the playground.  You can access this off of Martin Luther King drive, Edgehill and Hunt Hill Place.

Please bring a garbage bag, gloves, and good walking shoes. There will be some uphill walking.
